MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) - Two people have been hospitalized in a shooting outside a movie theater in Maple Grove.

Maple Grove police say the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday outside the Arbor Lakes AMC Theater. The victims drove nearly five miles away before calling police.

The two victims were taken to the hospital. They're expected to survive.

Maple Grove police Capt. Adam Lindquist says it appears no one inside the theater was aware of the shooting.

Lindquist says they're investigating the incident. The department hasn't made any arrests in connection with the shooting but Lindquist says the public is safe.
