Police Find 56 Pounds of Marijuana in Wright County Home

SOUTHSIDE TOWNSHIP --Two people were arrested Wednesday in Wright County after police found 56 pounds of marijuana.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. at 6897 Quinn Avenue Northwest in Southside Township.

The Wright County Sheriff's Special Investigations Unit used a search warrant at their home where police say they found the large amount of marijuana, along with smaller amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine.

During the search, officers also found a homemade active alcohol distillery set up in the basement.

63-year-old Allen Hochstein and 60-year-old Mark Repke were arrested and taken to the Wright County Jail.

They face Felony Controlled Substance Violation charges.
