DULUTH (AP) - Police say an 11-month-old girl is uninjured after being hit by a car while in a stroller.

The infant's 19-year-old mother was pushing her in the stroller Monday afternoon when the accident happened. They say a car turned but failed to yield to the pedestrian and hit the stroller. It's unclear how fast the car was driving.

Police say the girl was taken to the hospital as a precaution but didn't appear to be injured.

They say the driver was issued a ticket.
