Police Asking For Help To Find The Driver of a Hit and Run

An 11-year-old girl was struck by a car riding her bicycle on Thursday evening. The victim reported to police that she was riding her bike and crossing in a marked crosswalk at Northway Drive and 11th Avenue North when she was struck by an older green two-door car with visible rust on the bumper.

She described the driver as a white male in his 60's with a beard and a passenger as a white female in her 60's.

She was knocked off her bicycle and the driver left the scene without stopping to report the accident. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital where she was treated and released for non life-threatening leg injuries.
