ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police are asking for help identifying suspects involved in two thefts at area grocery stores over the past several weeks.

During the two thefts, the suspects allegedly stole several cartons of cigarettes valued at over $4,300.

The first incident happened just after 2:40 a.m. on December 18th at Cash Wise East (1001 4th Street Southeast). Two males jumped the service counter while two other males watched for store employees to approach. The suspects stole over $2,700 worth of cigarettes and fled the scene before police arrived.

The second incident happened just after 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday (January 6th) at Coborn's (900 Cooper Avenue South). One male went behind the counter while three other males watched for employees. The suspect stole $1,600 worth of cigarettes and they fled the scene.

Anyone with information on the suspects should call St. Cloud Police at 320-251-1200 or the Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.

Information can be given anonymously and Crime Stoppers pay rewards for info leading to the arrest and charging of individuals responsible for criminal activity.
