MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Police say two shootings that left one teen dead and two injured in north Minneapolis were related.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday identified the boy who died of multiple gunshot wounds as 17-year-old Jemario Langston. Police say he was fatally wounded in the first shooting on Tuesday, which happened four hours and seven blocks apart from the second shooting.

They say a 16-year-old was shot in the leg and taken to a hospital. A relative says the two teens were brothers.

A third teen was hospitalized following the later shooting and was in critical condition Wednesday.

A police spokesman says he can't specify how the shootings are linked because it's early in the investigation. Police are investigating.

No arrests have been made.
