Plea Entered In DUI Crash That Killed Boy

ROCHESTER (AP) - A man accused of driving the wrong way on a Rochester street while intoxicated and causing a fatal crash has entered a plea to vehicular homicide charges.

Gerald Mohs entered a Norgaard plea of guilty Tuesday, meaning he doesn't remember the events, but acknowledges the state has sufficient evidence for a conviction.

Court records say the 57-year-old had a blood alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit and hadn't had a valid driver's license for decades.

Nine-year-old William Siems, of Plainview, died after Mohs struck a vehicle driven by his aunt head-on Sept. 20. The crash also injured 29-year-old Amber Bishop and her 7-year-old son Jeramiya Bishop.

Krystal Bishop, the mother of the boy who died, says she's very disappointed that Moh's conditional bond was reduced from $500,000 to $10,000.
