Pipers End St. Ben’s Win Streak

The St. Ben’s basketball team saw their 11-game win streak get snapped Wednesday night when they lost to Hamline 77-58.  St. Ben’s trailed 38-30 at halftime and couldn’t catch up in the 2nd half.  Amy Stifter led the Blazers with 15 points and Heather Gillund added 14 points.  St. Ben’s is 15-2 overall and 12-2 in the MIAC.  St. Ben’s shot just 35 percent while Hamline shot 47 percent.  The Blazers will play at St. Olaf in Northfield at 1pm Saturday.
