Pierz Woman Faces Multiple Charges After Drug Arrest [VIDEO]

RICE -- A Pierz woman was arrested after a drug bust in Benton County Wednesday.

The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of 105th Street Northwest and Northeast River Road, in Watab Township.

Sheriff Troy Heck says an officer was making a traffic stop and approached the driver, 55-year-old Jason Wolf of Royalton.

Wolf told the officer he did not have a valid driver's license and that the car belonged to his passenger, 26-year-old Kendra Englehart of Pierz. Englehart originally told the officer she was her sister.

During the conversation the officer smelled a strong odor of perfume or cologne coming from inside the vehicle. The officer also notice a small butane torch near Englehart's feet.

A police dog was called in to search the scene. Before they arrived Englehart told the officer there was drug paraphernalia in the car.

Police searched the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia, two gram scales, several grams of marijuana and methamphetamine, and a pair of metal knuckles with an attached knife blade believed to belong to Englehart.

Englehart was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail. She faces charges of 5th Degree Controlled Substance, possession of a dangerous weapon and giving a false name to police. Englehart also has an outstanding warrant for 5th degree controlled substance.

Wolf was cited for driving after revocation and released at the scene.
