ROCKVILLE - A car pulling a trailer fell through the ice on Pearl Lake in Maine Prairie Township near Rockville Sunday.  The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 5:20 p.m. near the public access.

Sixty-one-year-old Kenneth Stofflet of Sartell was pulling a small trailer with a three wheeler on it.  He was attempting to leave the lake at the public access when he got too close to the cat tails and the passenger side of his car broke through the ice.  It came to a rest in about three to four feet of water.

Stofflet was able to get out of the car without being hurt.
