‘Pickled Loon’ Ready To Serve Downtown St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - There's A new option for food and drinks in downtown St. Cloud. "The Pickled Loon" on West St. Germain Street is opening it's doors this weekend.  The new bar and restaurant is in the former McRudy's Pub building.

They have a soft opening tomorrow (Friday).  And, on Saturday they're hosting four live bands.

Christopher "Buddy" Jost is one of three owners of the new bar.  He says they've put a lot of hard work into installing a new hardwood, painting the walls, and installing new lights.

He says co-owner Rhiannon Johnson's dad helped create their menu.

Jost says their goal was to have food that you wouldn't typically see on a bar menu.

Jost says the bar and restaurant is still a work in progress.  They plan to add 20 craft beer tap lines in mid-January.
