‘Pickled Loon’ Group To Reapply For Liquor License For Former McRudy’s Pub Building

ST. CLOUD - A group of people interested in opening a bar in the former McRudy's Pub building will try once again to get a liquor license from the St. Cloud City Council.

The city council denied their request in August because one of the four people in the ownership group was the former manager of McRudy's.  In their new application that person has been removed from the ownership group, with the three remaining people being Christopher Jost, Rhiannon Johnson, and Michael Illies.  Their new application also includes a revised business plan.

They want to open the bar at 715 West St. Germain Street under the name "The Pickled Loon".

A public hearing on the issue has been set for tonight's (Monday) city council meeting.
