Phyllis B. Roske, 94, Cosmos formerly of St. Cloud

January 27, 1922 - January 6, 2017

Phyllis Bell Roske went to be with her Lord on Friday January 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Riverside Evangelical Church in Sartell with Rev. Isaac Gould officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Phyllis was born on January 27, 1922 in St Cloud and except for a few years during WWII and the past year had spent most of her life in the area. She moved to the Cedar Crest assisted living facility in Cosmos, MN in March of 2016. Phyllis was a long time member of Riverside Presbyterian Church in Sartell where she served as an elder. She worked for 26 years at Coborn's Grocery on 5th Avenue South where she met and formed lifelong friendships.

Phyllis married Michael A. Roske on October 26, 1940. They had two children; Robert A. (Linda) Roske of Hutchinson and Norma J. Velde of Mounds View. She had 4 grandchildren: Jason R. (Stacey) Roske of Kansas City, MO; Brent Roske of Des Moines, IA; Amy Velde of Minneapolis; Travis Velde of Minneapolis and two great grandchildren: William R. Roske of Kansas City, MO and Tristan M. Roske of Kansas City, MO. Phyllis is also survived by two sister in laws; Lorraine Weihrauch of Sauk Rapids and Victoria Mortenson The Villages, FL; plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Betsy Weihrauch of St Cloud; her husband, Michael; son in law, Keith Velde of Blaine; brothers, Walter, Harry and Milton Weihrauch all of St Cloud; sister, Ethel Keehr of Seattle, WA and St Cloud; and sister, Ester Stavrum of Seattle, WA.
