Phone Scam Reported in Sauk Centre

SAUK CENTRE - Another phone scam is popping up in Central Minnesota.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office received the scam complaint on Monday.

Lynnette Schmitz of Sauk Centre reported that someone called her on multiple phone numbers trying to sell a timeshare. The person wouldn't identify the company they worked for and requested that she send a money order.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says this is a scam and reminds you to be cautious of these calls.
