Pedestrian Struck While Crossing Highway 23 in East St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A 25-year-old man walking across Highway 23 in St. Cloud was struck by a vehicle last (Tuesday) night.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 23 and Lincoln Avenue Southeast.

Robert Baker suffered severe, but not life-threatening injuries.  He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Witnesses say Baker was crossing on a red light, and the vehicle had the green light.  No charges are expected against the driver.
