Pederson: Arden Hills, Fan Tax for Vikings Stadium [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – Potential sites for a new Vikings stadium are the focus of a state Senate hearing today (Tuesday) at the Capitol.
Senator John Pederson of St. Cloud is not at the meeting, but he says he supports the hearing — and a new stadium.

Pederson says most of the feedback he’s been getting from his constituents is in support of a new stadium.

Pederson says he supports the site in Arden Hills, and he wants a tax on Vikings tickets, parking and sports memorabilia to pay for the state’s portion.
