Paynesville Home Total Loss After Fire

PAYNESVILLE -- A Paynesville seasonal home is a complete loss after catching on fire Friday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says crews were called to 29573 Crest Ridge Road in Paynesville Township at 9:30 a.m. Friday to put out the blaze.

The home was completely engulfed by the time crews arrived. The owners of the home, Michael and Bonnie Franta of Maple Grove were not home during the fire. The couple uses the home for seasonal use only.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
