The Minnesota Historical Society is getting ready to unveil former Governor Tim Pawlenty's official portrait in the State Capitol.

The formal unveiling will happen in the State Capitol Rotunda on Monday, October 10th.

The portrait -- painted by Bulgarian artist Rossin -- will be hung the next morning in the west wing of the Capitol and join the portraits of the other 38 previous Minnesota Governors.

Rossin is an internationally-renowned artist who has done major portraits of Presidents George H. and George W. Bush, Ambassador Andrew Young, and baseball legend Hank Aaron to name just a few.

You can see more of Rossin's work at his website.
