Paul M. Tholl, 82, St. Cloud

August 16, 1934 - December 7, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Paul M. Tholl, 82, of St. Cloud will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Paul passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend LeRoy Scheierl will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Paul was born on August 16, 1934 in St. Cloud to Paul J. and Elizabeth (Lipinski) Tholl. After high school, Paul proudly served in the US Army from 1954-1957. He married Carol Atkinson on August 30, 1958. Paul was employed as a Police Officer for the City of St. Cloud for 27 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Parish and the Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post #428.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Debra (Todd) Miller, David (Paula) Tholl, Mike Tholl, Mary Eng (Bill Osborne); grandchildren, Justin(Joanna), Tyler (Nora) and Collin Tholl, Elise and Claire Miller, Amanda and Chad Eng; great grandchildren, Jett, Joss, Jorah, Corene and Ada Tholl; sisters, Beatrice Momberg and Gloria Jacobs; and brother Richard Tholl.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great grandchild, Jadyn Tholl; sisters, Lorraine Baranowski, Rose Mary Ohman; and brother, Bud Tholl.
