Patrick “Pat” Thomes, 46, Clearwater

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Patrick “Pat” Thomes, age 46, who died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.

Patrick was born in Paynesville to Richard and Rosalie (Backes) Thomes. He was raised in Richmond, MN and attended ROCORI High School. Pat was a traffic coordinator at T.O. Plastics in Clearwater, MN. He was an avid singer and musician and was a drummer and singer in the bands Scorcher and Shadow Driver. Pat was co-owner of Stretch’s Street Park (an indoor skate park) in Waite Park, MN.

Survivors include his mother, Rosalie; brothers, Rick (Susan), Tim (Janet), Scott (Laura); sister, Cindy (Al) Braegelman; sister-in-law, Kelly; nieces and nephews, Amber, Nicholas, Katherine, Michelle, Melissa, Jon, Marie, Tia, Kendra, and great-niece, Kendall.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard (12-29-2009).
