Passenger on Metro Mobility Bus Struck by Bullet in Shakopee
SHAKOPEE, Minn. (AP) - Shakopee police say a bus passenger was wounded when a bullet penetrated the side of the bus and struck him.
The Metro Mobility bus was struck Monday afternoon. The 45-year-old man from Savage was the only passenger on board. He was alert and conscious, and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Police don't know if the shooting was an accident or a crime.
Officers are searching for a suspect. A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter is helping in the search.
