ST. CLOUD -- The Paramount Theatre's annual fundraiser has a new name and new festivities with Saturday's 2015 Autumn Moon Gala.

The evening begins with a 6:00 p.m. social hour complete with food, drinks and a silent auction leading up to an 8:00 p.m. show by nationally-known stand-up comedian Wendy Liebman.

Following Lieman's show, the theatre's stage will be lowered, becoming a dance floor as a musical performance by Collective Unconscious featuring George Maurer begins at 9:30 p.m.

The fundraiser has been held for the past 11 years, but this is the first year a dinner, comedian, and dancing will be featured.

"It's going to be a very exciting night," says Laurie Johnson, Director of Performing Arts for the Paramount. "We [invite] the community in for an evening of fun, entertainment and food -- it's a great evening that helps us provide services for all kinds of people all year long."

Johnson says the night is meant to raise funds for the non-profit Paramount Arts Resource Trust, as well as showcase all the different services they offer.

"Ninety percent of what we do here the public doesn't even know about and that's the ninety percent that we need to get support for in order to make it happen," Johnson says.

The Autumn Moon Gala is a 18+ event with tickets starting at $75.
