ST. CLOUD -- Steak, dancing, auctions and prizes, this year's annual Freedom Flight Fundraiser through Freedom Flight, Inc. is expected to draw in a huge crowd.

The fundraiser is hosted by the St. Cloud VFW Post #428.  The organization helps bring awareness to missing service men and women and those being held as prisoners of war.

The event will help raise money for the POW-MIA (prisoners of war- missing in action) hot air balloon program.

President and Chief Pilot Luke Cesnik says the program through Freedom Flight, Inc. has used 4 hot air balloons to travel to 6 countries and 42 states to spread awareness.

The fundraiser begins at 4:00 p.m. this Saturday at the St. Cloud VFW Post #428. It includes a steak or chicken dinner, silent and live auctions, raffle drawing, prize boards and dancing.

"We will serve about 500 meals, it is the biggest night for the VFW, we fill the place up, there's a lot of activity, and a lot of fun." --Cesnik

Dinner tickets are $20.00 at the door or $15.00 in advance. Raffle tickets are $10.00.
