Over 5 1/2 Inches Of Rain Fell In St. Cloud In May

ST. CLOUD – As you probably guessed, May was a wet month in St. Cloud.
The official weather summary from St. Cloud State University shows we had measurable rainfall on 15 of the 31 days in the month — that’s the most number of rainy May days since 1993.
The total rainfall in May the St. Cloud Regional Airport was 5.51 inches, more than 2 1/2 inches higher than normal.
And, although May seemed to be quite chilly, it was actually pretty close to normal temperaturewise — less than one-degree below normal.
