Orioles Top Twins 11-5 in Florida

The Twins lost 11-5 in Fort Myers, Florida to the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday night.  Johnny Monell hit a 3-run homerun off Jared Burton in the 3rd inning lifting the Orioles to the win.

Mike Pelfrey started the game and threw 2 2/3 innings with 3 hits and 2 earned runs allowed for Minnesota.  Alex Presley, Kurt Suzuki, Eduardo Escobar, and Trevor Plouffe each had 1 hit and 1 RBI for the Twins.

The Twins will host the Cardinals in Fort Myers at 12:05pm (CT) today.  The next Twins' broadcasts on WJON will be Saturday at noon against the Blue Jays and Sunday at noon against the Phillies.
