Orioles Rout Twins 8-1
The Twins lost 8-1 to the Baltimore Orioles at home Tuesday night. Brian Duensing allowed 9 hits and 7 earned runs in 2 innings to take the loss and drop to 8-13. Duensing has a 5.12 ERA. Danny Valencia hit a solo homerun accounting for the lone Twins' run. Justin Morneau returned to the lineup after missing 3 games after he fouled a ball off his foot. Morneau was 0-3 as a designated hitter.
Lester Oliveros made his Twins debut and allowed 1 earned run in 2 innings. He was acquired in the Delmon Young trade last week. Alfredo Simon allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 8 innings to get the win for the Orioles.
