Orioles Rout Twins 11-0
The Twins lost 11-0 at Baltimore to the Orioles Tuesday night. Carl Pavano allowed 8 hits and 7 earned runs in 4 2/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 1-2. Joe Nathan allowed a 3-run homerun to Vladimir Guerrero in his first appearance since being removed as the closer. Nathan's ERA is 11.37. Michael Cuddyer had 2 of the 6 hits for the Twins. Delmon Young and Justin Morneau both missed last night's game with the flu. The Twins are 6-11 and will play at Baltimore in the 3rd game of the 4-game series tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Righthander Nick Blackburn (1-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander Zach Britton (2-1) toes the rubber for the Orioles.
