Operation Baby New Year Still Hoping To Collect Over 40,000 Diapers [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - Operation Baby New Year is a grassroots organization trying to collect 100,000 diapers by New Year's day. Local business Beaver Island Brewing Company is helping out the cause by hosting a Diapers For Pints event tonight (Wednesday). Anyone (21-years or older) can drop off a box of diapers and get a free pint of beer.

Operation Baby New Year organizer Brianna Skalsky says donating is a great way for people to get involved in the community and meet new people.

The organization helps provide diapers to other area charities such as the Salvation Army, Anna Maries Alliance, Place of Hope, Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services.

Diapers For Pints will be going on until 10 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).
