Open Sauk Rapids Council Seat To Be Filled Tonight

SAUK RAPIDS - An open seat on the Sauk Rapids City Council is expected to be filled tonight (Monday).

There's an opening because former Mayor Mark Campbell resigned, and his position will filled by council member Dave Saunders.

Eleven people applied for the position, the council interviewed the candidates last week, and they'll appoint one of them tonight.  That person will fill the remainder of the term, which runs until November of next year.
