ST. CLOUD - Alert motorists took advantage of some cheaper gas today (Thursday), because of a mistake at a St. Cloud convenience store.

The Holiday Store on East St. Germain accidentally set a gallon of regular unleaded at $2.55 -- instead of $3.55.

It didn't take long before a line of cars started forming, giving the workers a clue that something was wrong.  The price was then quickly changed back to the regular rate.

Officials at Coborn's Incorporated, which owns the store, have not returned our phone calls.
