One Person Killed in Head On Collision in Wright County

WRIGHT COUNTY - The Minnesota State Patrol says a 66-year-old Howard Lake man is dead after a head on collision.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. this (Tuesday) afternoon on Highway 12 at 12th Avenue.

Keith Hardel was heading east when he crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, and the passenger, of the second vehicle were not seriously hurt.
