LITTLE FALLS -- One person is hurt after a two vehicle crash near Little Falls.

The incident happened just before 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on Ginger Road, north of 175th street in Green Prairie Township.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 66-year-old Walton Kjeldergaard, of Cushing, was driving north on Ginger Road with a Semi Tractor Trailer.

He came upon a pickup truck that was parked on the side of Ginger Road. He moved to avoid the truck when the truck suddenly turned to cross the road and was hit by Kjeldergaard.

The driver of the pickup was 82-year-old Emil Groth, of Little Falls. Groth was trapped inside the truck before the Little Falls Fire Department were called to assist with the extrication.

Groth was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries.
