One Person Hurt In Two Vehicle Crash in North St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- One person was hurt in a two car crash in St. Cloud on Saturday.

The incident happened just before 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of 8th Street North and 25th Avenue North.

Police say 56-year-old Paul Lloyd, of St. Cloud, was heading east in the 2500 block of 8th Street North, when he entered the intersection and hit another vehicle heading south on 25th Avenue.

60-year-old Wallace Abel, of St. Cloud, was the driver of the second vehicle, he was not hurt. His passenger, 59-year-old Suzanne Abel, was taken to St Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Lloyd was not hurt.

Both drivers told police they entered the intersection on a green light and police say the light was cycling properly.
