One Person Hurt in Rear-End Collision

ST. CLOUD - One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash in St. Cloud.

Police say the incident happened at about 8:45 p.m. last (Sunday) night at the intersection of 2nd Street North and 12th Avenue North.

A 27-year-old driver stopped at a stop sign when they were hit from behind.  The driver of the second vehicle was 23-year-old Sadiyo Anshur of St. Cloud.  Anshur was allegedly following too close, she also accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake.  Anshur was given a ticket.

The driver of the first vehicle was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
