One Person Hurt in Highway 71 Crash

LONG PRAIRIE-- One person is hurt and two people are okay after a rear end crash on Highway 71 after 7:30 p.m yesterday (Saturday).

State Patrol says 56-year-old Bruce Owen of Eagle Bend and 29-year-old Bret Mandel of Albany were both driving northbound on Highway 71.

Owen rear ended Mandel's car  until both cars came to a stop on the shoulder.

Owen's car engulfed in flames but everyone got out of the car before it caught fire. Both Owen and Mandel are okay. Mandel's passenger 55-year-old Freddie Arellano of Fergus Falls was taken by an ambulance to CentraCare in Long Prairie with non-life threatening injuries.
