MORRISON COUNTY - One person is hurt after a truck rear-ended a tractor baler in Morrison County on Monday.

The incident happened just after 5:10 p.m. on Bugle Road, south of Azalea Road near Motley.

80-year-old Verde Pepin of Motley was driving his tractor baler southbound on Bugle Road when he was hit from behind by a pickup driven by 23-year-old Zachary Batcher-Johnson of Motley.

Pepin was taken to Lakewood Health Systems Hospital near Staples hospital with unknown injuries.

Batcher-Johnson wasn't hurt. The tractor baler and truck were both heavily damaged.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was helped at the scene by the Motley First Response Team, Brainerd State Patrol and Gold Cross Ambulance.
