One Dead After Two Car Crash in Todd County

TODD COUNTY -- The Todd County Sheriff's Department was called to a two car crash at the intersection of 400th Street and Norris Road just after 2:00 p.m. this afternoon (Monday).

Deputies says Sara Trantina was driving North bound on Norris Raod in her 1999 Jeep SUV when she struck a 1997 Dodge Stratus.

Fifty-Three-year-old David Shoquist, of Rural Cushing, was driving West bound on 400th Street when he drove through a yield sign and was struck broadside by the SUV.

Shoquist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trantina and her passenger Catherine Trantina were taken to the Lake Wood Health Hospital.

Both cars were a total loss.
