One Arrested, Another Sought For Assault In St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- One St. Cloud man has been arrested while another man is being sought by police after an alleged assault and hit-and-run left a man hospitalized on Monday night.

The St. Cloud Police Department says they have arrested 30-year-old Orlando Walker while the other man involved in the alleged assault - 23-year-old Michael Flavin of St. Cloud - has not yet been found.

Officers say they responded to an incident in which a 36-year-old St. Cloud man was struck by a car after being involved in a fight with Walker and Flavin shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Monday in the 100 block of 23rd Avenue North in St. Cloud.

The victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries from the incident.

Officers arrested Walker, the alleged driver of the vehicle, later Monday night in the 1000 block of 14th Avenue Southeast in St. Cloud. Walker is in the Stearns County Jail facing charges of 2nd Degree Assault and Felony leaving the scene of a crash.

Police say they are still looking for the whereabouts of Michael Flavin and anybody with information is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department or the Tri-County Crime Stoppers.
