ST. CLOUD - Some of the best BMX bike racers in the world will be in St. Cloud this weekend.

They're participating in the first ever "Land O Lakes Nationals" at the Pineview Park BMX, and competing to qualify for the 2012 Olympic games in London.

Spokeswoman Cheryl Post says it's the biggest event they've ever held at the facility.

Post says over 750 competitors of all ages will be in town.

Unfortunately, one of them won't be local racer Alise Post.  She's been ranked as the #1 American for the past two years, but she's recovering from an injury.  She's hoping she can get back on her bike later this year, and earn enough points to qualify for the Olympics.

The races this weekend are at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday), 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

All of the races are free and open to everyone to come out and watch.
