Olive 'Ollie" Miller, age 99, of Foley, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Foley Nursing Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 AM Tuesday at the church. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Olive Cecelia Miller was born July 17, 1916 in Mahnomen, Minnesota to Frank and Sarah (Bellefeuille) Otremba. At the age of 13, the family moved to the Morrill area. Olive married Raymond W. Miller on March 17, 1935 in Morrill. She worked at the Veterans hospital in St. Cloud as a dietician and retired in 1968. Olive and Raymond moved back to the Morrill area in 1967. Olive was a hard worker, good homemaker and mother. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, playing cards and going to the casino. She belonged to St. Joseph Christian Mothers, St. Theresa Mission Group and the Gilman Senior Citizens. Olive was always in high gear and full of life.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Miller (Judy Hunt) of St. Paul; daughter, Beverly A. Dillenburg of Foley; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Hilaria "Larry" Szyplinski of Foley and Sylvia Deppa of Foley. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sarah; husband, Raymond on September 9, 2000, infant daughter, Connie on September 6, 1949; son-in-law, Francis P. Dillenburg on September 4, 2008; four infant Dillenburg grandchildren; parents-in-law, William and Maud (Scott) Miller; siblings: Alvina "Vina" (Sam) Czech, Evelyn (Anton) Pekarek, Eliguis Otremba, Joseph Szyplinski, Adella "Della" (Louie) Antonczah and Donald Deppa.

Olive's family would like to extend a special thank you to the kind and caring staff at Foley Heritage Nursing Center. They also thank Heartland Hospice Care for making mother's passing easier on everyone.
