Old Sam’s Club Demolition has Begun

ST. CLOUD - Work has begun to tear down the old Sam's Club building in St. Cloud.  The building is coming down to make way for a new $12 million Walmart store.

Walmart officials haven't returned our phone calls, but back in October the St. Cloud city council agreed to vacate a road and utility easement between the building's parking lot and Division Street.

The former Sam's Club building has been vacant since September of last year when a new Super Walmart and Sam's Club opened in Sartell.
