‘Old Glory Run’ Event Is Saturday In Cold Spring

COLD SPRING - It will be a big day in Cold Spring tomorrow (Saturday).

The 7th annual Old Glory Run starts at 9:45 a.m. with the opening ceremony. There's a 5K run at 10:00 a.m., and a 1K run at 11:00 a.m.  Awards will be handed out at 11:30 a.m. and the closing ceremonies are planned for 11:45 a.m.

The Minnesota Disabled American Veterans Organization runs the event.

Money raised in the first six years has been used to buy new vans for the St. Cloud VA, and has helped disabled veterans hunt turkey and deer at Camp Ripley.
