ST. CLOUD - There will be a Short Film Showcase at Pioneer Place beginning at 7:30 p.m. tonight. There are four films, which were all made in Central Minnesota, being shown from directors John Scott, Andrew Zachariason, and Benjamin Watkins.

John Scott has two films at the showing. His first film, entitled "Holding", is about a man who was released from prison after twenty years with nothing but the money he buried before he was caught. St. Cloud State University's Film Studies 470 class helped make the film. This film is twelve minutes long. Scott's second film, "Between Friends", which is ten minutes long, is also being shown. It is about two women who plan their revenge on their landlord who is bullying them.

The St. Cloud State University Film Studies 470 class also helped in the production of Zachariason's film, "Labyrinth". This film runs ten minutes.

The fourth film, directed by Benjamin Watkins, is called "6402". This is a documentary about Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker, who was killed in the line of duty. The documentary focuses on Officer Decker, his wife Alicia Decker, his family, and the community he served.

The Short Film Showcase is free, but seating at the Pioneer Place is limited. The showings of the films begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be a question and answer session with the directors following the films.
