SAUK RAPIDS - The first-ever Benton County Octoberfest is today (Saturday).  The event at the fairgrounds in Sauk Rapids kicks-off at 1:00 and runs until 10:00 p.m.

From 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. there will be family fun, and polka music.

And from 5:00 until 10:00 p.m. a variety of other bands, including Slip Twister, will be playing.

Minnesota brewed beers like Third Street Brewhouse, Schells, and more will be available.

The cost to get in is $10 for adults.  People age 20 and younger get in for free, but must be accompanied by an adult.  Food and beverages are an additional cost.
