Obama Remark Gets MN Man Secret Service Visit

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (AP) - An Ultimate Fighting Champion and chiropractor from White Bear Lake says a Secret Service agent visited him after he told an online interviewer that he wanted to "knock some sense" into President Obama.

Jacob Volkmann says that an agent approached him several nights ago and spoke to him for several minutes. Secret Service spokesman Max Milien says the agency doesn't comment on such matters.

On Saturday, Volkmann won a cage match in Las Vegas and afterward told a sports reporter that he wanted Obama to be his next opponent. He lamented the health care overhaul and said, "someone's got to knock some sense into that idiot."

Volkmann says he told the agent he didn't actually intend to threaten the president.
