MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - President Barack Obama is planning to stop in southern Minnesota during a three-day bus tour to promote his economic policies next week.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Tuesday that the bus tour will make stops in Minnesota, northeastern Iowa and western Illinois from Aug. 15 to Aug. 17.

Obama is expected to discuss ways to grow the economy and listen to the concerns of residents and small business owners.

The announcement didn't say exactly when or where the president would be stopping, but did say additional details would be released in the future.
