SAUK CENTRE - Wind speeds may have reached 90 miles an hour as a powerful storm swept through Sauk Centre on Sunday night.

The National Weather Service says the power went out at the airport just before an official wind speed could be clocked.  But damage in the town is consistent with 90 mile an hour winds.

The power outage is also the reason why the sirens did not go off in the town.

Hundreds of trees were downed, and dozens of structures where damaged, in Sauk Centre from the Sunday night storm.
