UNDATED - The Mississippi River in St. Cloud is still under a flood watch.  As of last (Tuesday) night the river was at 8.4 feet.  It's expected to rise to the flood stage of 9 feet by tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.  Minor flooding in low lying areas is possible.

It isn't just rivers that are rising after recent rains -- many lakes, pits and reservoirs are also swelling.

The Army Corps of Engineers' Shannon Bauer says one example of how wet it's been: Gull Lake rose nearly a foot over normal summer levels after receiving almost eight-inches of rain in the last week-and-a-half.
