North Star College Cup Shifts To Weekend

The third annual North Star College Cup hockey tournament at Xcel Energy Center has been moved to a weekend series. The series previously was held on Friday and Saturday afternoons.

This year the tourney will feature St. Cloud State and Minnesota State opening the festivities on Saturday, January 30th at 1 PM, followed by Minnesota taking on Bemidji State at 4 PM.

The consolation game will be played at 1 PM on Sunday, January 31st and the championship game will take place at 4 PM. Bemidji State won the event last season.
