North Dakota Man Hurt in Two Vehicle Crash

ST. JOSEPH -- A North Dakota man was hurt in a crash in St. Joseph earlier this (Sunday) afternoon.

The state patrol says the incident happened shorty before 3:00 p.m. on the Highway 23 at the Interstate-94 overpass.

The crash involved 19-year-old Liban Maalim of West Fargo, North Dakota and 52-year-old Sharon Donnay of Watkins.

Maalim suffered from non-life threatening injuries. Donnay was not hurt in the crash.

Both drivers were going south on Highway 23. Maalim started to attempt to make a u-turn, when Donnay was unable to stop and broadsided Maalim's vehicle.
